2nd Quarter 2019 Real Estate Sales (Leduc)


When comparing our 2nd quarter sales in 2019 to this same period in 2018 we see a variety of increases and decreases across our community of Leduc.

Starting with single family detached houses, we saw 123 sales in 2019 compared to 132 in 2018, representing 8.9% less detached homes sold. Detached houses sold on average in 53 days in 2019 compared to 59 days in 2018. The average price decreased from $378,143 (2018) down to $370,032 (2019), resulting in a 2.1% decrease.

Half duplexes saw 33 sales (second quarter of 2019) compared to 27 during the same period in 2018. They took much longer to sell at 119 days on market, compared to 71 days last year. We saw an average sale price last quarter of $307,824 compared to $301,184 in 2018.

Condo sales were consistent with 24 sales in both 1st and 2nd quarter. They averaged 83 days on the market to sell in 2019 compared to 91 days last year. The average price of condo sales in the first quarter of 2019 fell to $229,212 compared to $253,886 during the same period in 2018.
